The Claudius Therme's therapeutic water, a "thermal sodium chloride acidic compound", is particularly suitable for spa health cures.

The heat of the water allows the therapeutic properties of the mineral composition to develop to their full extent. Special emphasis should be placed on the content of biologically significant electrolytes such as magnesium, calcium, hydrogen carbonate, iron and fluoride, and on the content of free carbon dioxide.
