Our sauna treatments<\/h1>\n

We offer you the chance to enjoy various ceremonies and water poured on hot stones (Aufguss = literally “onpouring”). You can find a list of them on the “Aufguss” boards and the booking terminals. We have labelled the temperatures of each “Aufguss” with our tried-and-tested ladle system. <\/p>\n

Free “Aufguss” sessions and ceremonies<\/h2>\n

In all three parts of the sauna area<\/h3>\n

Besides a classic salt or fruit Aufguss, in the Russian banya, we also offer an Aufguss that uses a bunch of birch twigs to sprinkle the water on the hot stones. In the women’s sauna, we offer wellness Aufguss sessions especially for women. We also invite all guests to enjoy the meditative effect of the singing bowls. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Salt Aufguss<\/h4>\n
After a short warm-up phase, you rub your body with different salts. This has a disinfectant, sweat-inducing and detoxifying effect. The coarse grain of the salt exfoliates your body. After the Aufguss, you can refresh yourself by rubbing yourself down with ice. <\/div>\n \n

Venik Aufguss<\/h4>\n
With a bundle of birch twigs known as the \u201cvenik\u201d, birch water is sprinkled onto the hot stones (this is the \u201cAufguss\u201d). This releases the wonderful aroma of the birch leaves, filling the banya with their typical fragrance. <\/div>\n \n

Banya ritual<\/h3>\n

This ritual has a total of five phases. In the first, a bundle of birch twigs, the “venik”, is used to fan you with warm air. This is followed by a short cooling off phase with fresh Siberian tea. During the next sauna session, your body is gently beaten with the venik. A refreshing ice rub concludes this phase. The last stage of the banya ritual is designed to aid your relaxation: in this round, you are gently rubbed down with the venik.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \n \n
